Starting with the desire to fish more of the river, the founders of Lavro developed the Northwest style of Drift Boat in the early to mid 70's. The highly maneuverable and durable boats were designed for the Northwest rocky rivers. In the early to mid 80's Lavro developed a Whitewater line. These boats are used on some of the wildest rivers in the world. Continuing on, we have come up with other models and interior designs. Lavro is always working with the customers to introduce new ideas and features in our boats To back up our promise of a top quality product and stand up to our warranty, vigorous testing is continuously being performed. Here at Lavro, we have developed our boats over the years by testing and retesting. They are not placed on the market until the professional boat users approve them. Good boat designs can be copied, but you cannot copy quality; it must be built in. If you want to know which boat stands out among the rest, talk to the fisherman who runs them.
